In Mondays NZ Herald there is an article on the fact that importer Peter Escher is trying to trademark a Freeview logo. It will be interesting to see how CanWest and TVNZ fight this Importer moves to register Freeview So the question is do the NZ public want interactive settop boxes, or just more channels.

TV3 to go WideScreen on FreeView

In a reply to a letter in the 23-29 September edition of TVGuide TV3 have confirmed that they will go Widescreen 16:9 on the new New Zealand Digital  Platform. This is excellent news and we just hope to hear similar news from TVNZ in the near future.

OpenMedia announce support for MythTV 0.20 on myPVR
