Well the announcement has now been made and 0.20 is out in the wild. Take a look at the following links Annoucement on the MythTV Home Page Release Notes for 0.20 Expect binary builds for all of your favorite distros to sneak out over the next couple of days.

Interesting article titled “The MythTV Convergence” over at Toms Hardware. Whilst they will be doing some additional follow up articles, it appears that MythTV comes out ahead of the Microsoft product in most key areas.
