MythWeb Virtual mythfrontend Remote Control
I have been working on a web based remote control add on for MythWeb. This will allow you to control a remote MythTV frontend without using a remote control or keyboard. My thanks to Mike Poublon on the MythTV-Users email list for providing the original template code, and the images are based on Etiquette Icons by Andy Fitzsimon from Open Clip Art. The images are all published under the Creative Commons, and once I get the OK from Mike I hope to push all the code under the GPL.
It uses a small piece of php code to provide a simple web based gui for the mythfrontend telnet control interface. The overall layout is based on the Hauppauge MCE dog bone remote.
For the moment click through to get an idea of the “Virtual Remote Control” MythTV interface, and I’ll provide a link to the code once I have sorted out the license issues.
