MythTV at LCA2007
OpenMedia attended LCA in Sydney this year, and were very pleased to discover that there were two sessions involving MythTV. During the MiniConfs Michael Still and Stewart Smith talked about writing their MythTV book using OpenOffice.
The other key session was a tutorial called Practical MythTV. Very well attended but they didn’t get into some of the troubleshooting that some of the attendes hoped would be covered.
One other highlight was the MythTV booth during the OpenDay. OpenMedia had a bunch of their myPVR flyers on the stand and helped with answering questions. I think that most of the attendes of the OpenDay were very impressed with the capabilities of MythTV, and this reflected the reaction OpenMedia got at Big Boys Toys in Auckland last year.
