MythTV NZ

It appears that the new NZ DVB-S multiplex on 12483000 H 22500000 3/4 is actually carrying some valid MHEG-5 data. I’ve enabled the MHEG support in debug mode on a test environment to see what would show up. The attached log file contains all of the output.

Now there appears to be an EPG application burried in the MHEG data, and it looks like it has been loaded into the DSMCCCache but I can’t work out how to jump to it from the GUI. Pressing the function keys F2-F7 just results in messages like

Adding MHEG key MENUYELLOW:102:1

At this point i’m not sure if this is specific to some NZ addon to the MHEG-5 stack, or that there isn’t an easy way to jump to the EPG application. The debug output from mythfrontend can be found at http://www.mythtv.co.nz/mythtv/mheg5/dsmcc.log
